Joe Hachem

Joe Hachem is a Lebanese-Australian professional poker player known for being the first Australian to win the main event at the World Series of Poker in 2005. He won $7.5m which was a record at the time for the largest ever tournament prize. The following year Hachem won $2.2 million and the title at the World Poker Tour and he has cashed in 10 World Series events to date. At the end of 2009 his total tournament winnings were in excess of $10,850,000, the fifth highest ranking in live tournament earnings.
