Johnny Chan

Johnny Chan is a professional poker player born in China and now lives in Vegas. After winning the World Series of Poker in both 1987 and 1988, Chan was established in the hall of poker fame in 2002. He came close to winning a third consecutive title but Phil Hellmuth took it from him and he finished in 2nd place in 1989. No player has won consecutive WSOP events since Chan. In 2006 Chan became the first player to win ten World Series of Poker titles, an achievement he now jointly holds with Doyle Brunson and one that is beaten only by Phil Hellmuth who holds eleven WSOP titles.
