DTB videos not working for me

I used the link in my account because I want to watch some DTB videos. I tried watching PLO videos and the timer came up but when I click play nothing happens. I went through the "having problems" checklist but installing flash, etc hasn't worked.

edit: Do only the 10 "Free Videos" work for this promo? if so, very misleading

That was a temporary outage, no worries, you have access to the entire library during your free trial.

Logging on to DTB today, big warning about malware on their site and not to proceed.

Any news on this? I am afraid to use my privileges there.

Here's the issue with that. There is a glitch with the new vbulletin versions that triggers a malware report from google. None of our users have experienced any malware on their computers when this has triggered, so we don't think there's any actual malware being installed, but we are treating it very seriously anyway. Vbulletin has been releasing updates, but they haven't fixed it yet and are now blaming unauthorized plugins on the problem, which is nonsense because DTB does not run a single plugin.

Here's what we're doing about it:

When this report is triggered, the google page that displays that warning lingers for much longer because we have to submit a report to google to get that removed, and thats a manual process that involves people on their end verifying that the issue is resolved before the page comes down.

Our programmers have identified what causes the malware report to be triggered, so what we've done is installed a process the forum software every minute so we'll be able to identify it when it happens and remove it before the malware warning goes up with google.

Overall, we understand its concerning, and believe me, we are not happy about this because its obviously a scary thing for our customers to see. But rest assured we've worked hard to make sure our site is safe and that this has not affected any of our users. We're optimistic this is the last of these reports, but we can't guarantee it until vbulletin actually fixes the problem.

    Best,

    Hunter Bick, DTB CEO
