    William Hill rakeback question

I have read many questions relating to William Hill poker rakeback but I would like to ask one question if anyone could answer because it has been hard to find a definitive answer.

I have read that people get their William Hill rakeback monthly, once a month, on some day.

I have also read that there is no rakeback in William Hill because they have a Vip point system for every member.

Well, if there is a Vip system, then why does anyone need a rakeback deal at William Hill? I made the deal, I can see in my profile that there is money raked in, but I see conflicting answers on what happens with it.

So, there are 2 answers currently floating around relating to william hill rakeback. 1: paid once per month or 2, that there is none in a regular old fashioned rakeback way.

On a side note: William Hill has 2 kind of points. WH award point and WH point. WH award points get accumulated according to a multiplier that you get, depending on what level you are. Level 1 is 1, and level 2 is 3 and level 3 is 3.8etc.

But, the WHpoints themselves only accumulate with the speed of the old 1. For example, I am level 3 so my multiplier is 3.8.

In a poker table it now says on the top:

    WH award points: 13.96
    WH points. 3.68

If I divide 13.96 with 3.68 I get 3.79, which is basicly 3.8, my multiplier.

This basically only affects the bonus system because clearing a bonus happens at level 1 with WH points and your level doesn't affect it.

Back to their "Vip to cash" page where you can change points to cash:
You can see that minimum amount of WH award points for cash is 3750 points for 2.5 dollars. If you get enough points, you can get with 100,000 points, 100 dollars, or with 750000 points you can get 1500 dollars, so the ratio get better the more points you change at once.

So, my dumb questions are, if William Hill has a Vip program, then why do people need to get a rakeback deal to William Hill, as anyone is eligible to their own rakeback.

But, here comes a big but, the rakeback in their own Vip system is, according to their page:

25 WHpoints with every 1 dollar raked in.

So, if I have now for example 40 dollars raked in, it translates to 1000 WH points. Lets imagine I am on level 3, then I get 1000 wh points and thanks to 3.8 multiplier, I have 3800 WH award points that I can change to cash. What this means is, in your poker client window, you can see that if you have got 380WH award points since you logged in, the bonus clearance has gone down only with 100 points, the 3.8 ratio.

So, according to this, if im not dumb in mathematics which I am sometimes, rakeback in their own vip system is:

40 dollars raked in, where every dollar is 25 Wh points = 1000. Which is, thanks to multiplier 3.8, 3800 Wh award points. Which is: 2.5 dollars of rakeback (3750 points for 2.5 dollars).

And that translates to: 40 dollars raked in and 2.5 dollars rakeback, equals to 6.25% rakeback. 1 percentage of the raked amount is 40 cents so 2.5 dollars divided with 40 cents is 6.25.

Since most poker places have rakebacks in the 30% or more, I would just like to ask, if I rake 100 dollars, will I get somewhere in the 30 dollars rakeback, or will it be something like 6.5 dollars (or if I level up, maybe 10 dollars), which is still a very low rakeback.

If rakeback is given back as cash like on other poker sites, will it go to moneybookers or similar or to the poker account?

Thank you very much if anyone can answer. I have just been unable to find an answer to this, or is William Hill not on any old fashioned rakeback wagon etc. Thanks.

William Hill used to be on a different network that is no longer (cryptologic) before it moved to the ipoker network (powered by Playtech).

Those of us who had rakeback on the old network still get it on the new network, paid once per month. We also get to be in the race, but are excluded from the vip scheme (points are worthless) and pretty much all the other promotions.

New customers from the change onwards don't get rakeback, but get a 1st deposit bonus, the VIP scheme and the race and all the promotions
