The largest ever Bad Beat Jackpot payout was made yesterday, Monday 9 November. The winning player took home €210,000.
Lionel Foulquier, the lucky French winner, had quad 8s beaten by Quad Queens, on a €0.50/€1 No Limit Table. Foulquier joined online poker room, Poker Heaven, during the summer, attracted by their promotions. He has been playing online poker for little over a year.
Foulquier now intends to buy an apartment with some of his winnings and plans on staying on the poker scene. Which all goes to prove Bad Beat’s reputation as a great online poker promotion. Poker Heaven confirmed that the next Bad Beat Jackpot has already been re-set to €120,000, so they’re hoping to continue to raise those record jackpots!
