The world’s three biggest online poker sites have been busy signing new players to represent them at the poker tablePokerStars was the first poker room to make some big signings as they welcomed Patrick Pezzin, Greg DeBora, Ahn Van Nguyen, and Marcello Del Grosso as new members of Team PokerStars.  Nguyen and Pezzin are probably the biggest signings since both have over $700,000 in career winnings to their credit.  Pezzin finished second in the 2009 $10k Limit Hold’em Championship in addition to making two other WSOP final tables last year.

Full Tilt Poker made big moves by signing some online poker pros from Australia.  The two people they signed were Jonathan “xMONSTERxDONGx” Karamalikis and Van “Sirens” Marcus.  Both players are mainstays at Full Tilt and they are extremely successful as well.  Karamalikis was extremely excited about the signing and said, ““It feels great to sign with Full Tilt. There are, in my opinion, the best poker site in the world. I love playing there and I’m looking forward to racking up a few big scores while representing them.”  These players can look forward to raking more cash in through the 27% rakeback deals Full Tilt offers.

Party Poker was the other major online poker room to sign somebody this week as they added 2010 Aussie Millions champion Tyron Krost.  Krost gained international fame throughout the poker world after taking down the Aussie Millions championship and he earned an AUD $2 million prize.  As a member of Party Poker, Krost will join some of the biggest names in poker since Tony G, Kara Scott, and Mike Sexton are already on the team.  By making huge poker news with the signing of Tyron Krost, more people might be drawn to the large 40% rakeback offer that’s in place at Party Poker.
