To be eligible for a seat, you just have to meet one of the following weekly requirements:

- Play in five designated $6 SNG’s, and you’ll be entered into a Wednesday free poker tournament where the top 10 players earn seats for the $80k Sniper tourney.
- Play in ten designated $6 SNG’s, and you’ll get into a Sunday freeroll where 10 seats to the $200k Guaranteed are being given away.
- Play in five designated $11 SNG’s, and you’ll be entered into a Wednesday freeroll where the top 20 players win seats for the $80k Sniper tourney.
- Play in five designated $11 SNG’s, and you’ll gain entry into a Sunday freeroll where 20 seats are being given away for the $200k Guaranteed.

All you have to do to get into these freerolls is play….you don’t have to win or even cash. And seeing as how the buy-ins for the required sit and go’s are pretty low, you don’t need to risk much money to get into these freerolls.

Both the $200k Guaranteed and $80k Sniper tournament are great events where players win tons of money each week. The winner of the $200k always walks away with $40,000 or more, while the Sniper tourney allows players to earn bounties on every player they knock out of the tournament.

- The loser gets 50%

What’s great about the Tourney King promo is that players will be earning extra money on top of what they already make by playing in poker games.  The way it works is that online poker players will be competing on two different leaderboards depending upon their poker tournament buy-in.  The two leaderboards are the Low Limit Leaderboard and the High Limit Leaderboard; the difference is that the Low Limit Leaderboard is for tournaments with buy-ins of less than $19.99 while the High Limit board is for buy-ins of $20 or more.

So if you decide to play in a holdem poker tournament where the buy-in is $15 and you cash in this tourney, you’ll receive points for the Low Limit Leaderboard.  The amount of points varies depending upon the amount of entrants, the buy-in, and your finish, but Carbon has a calculator for you to use when determining points. 

If you’re able to play poker well enough to finish in the top 250 spots of either the Low Limit or High Limit Leaderboard, you’ll get to play in the monthly Grand Final tournament.  This is where the cash is given out to internet poker players, and the top 50 will all receive a cash prize.  Of course, you want to be at the top of the list because this is where the big money is with 1st place on the High Limit Leaderboard receiving $3,000.  1st place on the Low Limit Leaderboard will also get a nice sum of money at $1,500.

One more huge change that should bring players out in hordes is that the Circuit will hold a $1 million National Championship at the end of the Circuit season.  According to poker rules, anybody who has accumulated the most points at any of the 12 Circuit stops, won a $1,500 Main Event, made the final poker table of a Regional Championship, or winds up in the top 36 of the Circuit points standings will play for the $1 million.  In all, 100 players will have a chance to compete for cash in this million dollar freeroll.

Since the Circuit is back and bigger than ever, it would be a good idea to check poker sites to see if they’re offering any qualifiers for prize packages.

The fifth installment of the UBOC will run from August 18th to August 29th, and will offer 20 tournaments with the culmination being a $1,000,000 Guaranteed Championship poker tournament.  And for those holdem poker players who are still working on building up their bankroll, the Mini UBOC will offer cheaper tournaments that mirror the regular UBOC.

Altogether, the combined prize pools will offer players over $4,000,000 in guaranteed cash, which is sure to make some internet poker players very rich people.  As if the $4 million-plus isn’t enough money, Ultimate Bet is also offering a side contest where an online poker player who cashes in at least 11 tournaments will be given an additional $1,000,000.  That’s right, if you can cash in the most tournaments during UBOC5 (11 minimum), you will win $1 million!

Some of the poker games that will be offered in UBOC5 include texas poker, Omaha, Mixed Hold’em, Heads-Up, and 6-Max.  As mentioned before, the championship will offer $1 million in guaranteed money along with the chance to play poker hands against Phil Hellmuth.  Wouldn’t it be great to read Hellmuth’s whiny chat box messages after busting him out of the tourney?

Those interested in playing in UBOC5 should know that satellites and free poker tournaments have already started for the event.  Of course, you can also wait until the scheduled starting times of each tournament and just buy directly in.  Also keep in mind that you’ll be collecting 30% in rakeback money while playing satellites and regular UBOC tourneys.

Gamblers in Vegas were all hit hard by the ATM gremlins as the glitch infiltrated several ATM machines around the city resulting in as many as 40,000 transactions being affected. Customers were going to the machine and using their cards as they normally do and all went fine till the machine was supposed to issue the cash. The machine didn’t pay out. So as any self-respecting bank account owner would do, they tried again. Still no cash! 

Shrugging off the event as a machine error and putting it to the back of their minds was the typical response. However, customers were in for a nasty shock when they checked their balances with their bank. The machines had been debiting the cash but not issuing the funds! 

As you can imagine this caused quite a few tempers to flare around the city and in bank branches. It seems that the glitch is not actually caused by the account holder’s bank, but instead is a problem that has occurred with the ATM operator GCA that owns most of the ATM’s in Vegas city casinos. To add insult to injury the ATM machines have also been charging customers a fee for the supposed cash withdrawal! 

A spokesman for GCA has offered his most sincere apologies and that all funds will be re-credited to account holders bank accounts. The glitch has been blamed on an interface between the machines and visa authorising system. Thankfully the promise of refund has appeased many players. 

Just goes to show that the cult movie was right. Don’t feed the (ATM) gremlins after midnight or you’re in for trouble!!!
