I had clashed on Day 2 with Michael and won two nice size pots from him, one with a ridiculous bluff and the other by inducing him to call with a draw that missed. After I looked at the EPT coverage I was convinced that it would be very difficult to get involved in large pots with him as he is very capable of shoving very light, so careful methodical abc poker was all that was required when in pots with him. I was sure he would knock himself out if you let him become over confident. John Eames on the other hand is not that well known on the circuit, but in my opinion was without doubt a very tough opponent. He was very methodical and precise and did not make any mistakes. I’m sure he will win big very soon.
