The World Series of Poker is over for now. That is until we take a break and get to November 9, when it all begins again, and with style. 9 Finalists have been chosen and will battle it out for the gold. After starting out with more than 6,000 players, the 2008 World Series of Poker $10,000 No-Limit Hold ‘em has now toned down to the final 27 at the end of Day 6. The payout figure crossed the six figure mark, but what was even more attractive to the players was the fact that they had made it to a big event in the second most prestigious WSOP of all time.

You’ve heard of it, you’ve been in it. This year, it is back again with a bang. Presenting the Borgata Open 2008, one of East Coast’s most prestigious events. Held at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City every year, this year it is scheduled to be held from September 3rd through September 18th. All 16 events will be played this time, including the ever popular and the grand WPT $10,000 No-Limit Texas Hold ‘em.
