Fluctuation in Rake Due to Foreign Exchange Rates

Posted on by RTR Dave

A lot of our players will be noticing that their rake and rakeback is changing a lot on a day to day basis, regardless of whether they are playing poker or not.

The reason for this is that the current economic/financial crisis is resulting in extremely volatile currency markets. As such the cable (£/$) and euro (€/$) rates are changing on a daily basis and so the rake at rooms where rake is reported to us in €s and £s is changing continuously.

Your actual rakeback will not actually be affected – we report all rake in $$$ for convenience, but all values are converted back into their reporting currency when payments are being made by us or the rooms.

Kind regards

RTR
