Challenge Durrr at Full Tilt Poker

Assuming you have around a $1,000 bankroll, you could cover one big blind in a cash game with Full Tilt Poker sensation Tom “Durrrr” Dwan. Assuming you play poker in the “Challenge Durrrr” promotion at Full Tilt, you could go toe-to-toe with Dwan for an entire series of sit and go’s where $1.5 million is on the line!

The Challenge Durrrr promo is made up of four phases that run from now until March 13th. The first phase, which is called Challenge 1, will award players with Challenge Leaderboard poker chips when they meet the following requirements: multi-table two tables of No-Limit holdem poker or Pot-Limit Omaha, or play a single table of Rush Poker NL Holdem or PL Omaha. Every pot you win in these poker games will give you Challenge Leaderboard chips based on the amount of players in the hand.

One really nice thing about Challenge 1 is that three different leaderboards are offered, which include the following:

– Low Leaderboard: $0.01/$0.02 stakes to $0.10/$0.25
– Medium Leaderboard $0.10/$0.25 stakes to $0.50/$1
– High Leaderboard $1/$2 stakes and higher

The top players from each of these leaderboards will move on to play in Challenge 2, which is a series of free poker tournaments on March 19th. The top 1,000 Low Leaderboard finishers play in a $5,000 freeroll, the top 750 Medium Leaderboard finishers play in a $10,000 freeroll, and the top 500 High Leaderboard finishers play in a $15,000 freeroll.

Each freeroll winner moves into Challenge 3, which consists of a Matrix SNG poker tournament round where a $25k prize pool is on the line. Whoever wins the Matrix SNG will move on to face Durrrr in Challenge 4 on March 27th, which is the final round of the Durrrrr Challenge.

Winning the $1.5 million won’t be easy because you have to multi-table four SNG’s against Durrrr. The amount of money you win depends on how many SNG’s you can beat Dwan in, and here’s a look at that: 1 win is worth $10,000, 2 wins is worth $25,000, 3 wins is worth $100,000, and 4 wins is worth $1.5 million.

Of course, everybody will be winners in the Durrrr Challenge if they take advantage of the 27% rakeback deals at Full Tilt while they’re playing!
