Jason Somerville Argues for Legal Online Poker on CNBC

Legalizing online poker has been a hot-button topic in California for years. James Butler, who heads the California Coalition Against Gambling Expansion. 2016 Big One for One Drop – 3 Things Different

After successful runs in 2012 and ’14, the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop tournament didn’t take place at the 2016 WSOP. Many poker players were surprised by this, wondering if we’d ever see the world’s most-expensive tournament again. Posted on by RTR George

This being said, we thought it’d be appropriate to look back on some of the most-notable memories – good and bad – from Full Tilt’s great run. 1. Rise of Full Tilt’s High Stakes …

Phil Hellmuth talks Golf, Hustlers and Michael Jordan

Posted on by RTR George

Phil Hellmuth has definitely conquered the poker world with 14 WSOP bracelets and over $19.3 million in tournament winnings. But has he conquered any other games, like golf for instance? “I’m known for showing emotion at the poker table, and I used to be the same way with golf, throwing clubs and acting like a complete brat, until about five years ago,” said Hellmuth. “That was when I realized that I’ll never really excel at golf. I’m a 16-handicap! With poker, I’m supposed to be great.” Hellmuth’s comments came during an interview with Golf Digest, where he discussed a number …

Bill Perkins rowing from England to New York for Bet?

Posted on by RTR George

Just recently, poker players Bill Perkins and Dan Bilzerian made one of the most-legendary prop bets ever, with the latter riding his bicycle from Las Vegas to L.A. for $600k. Some ideas that have been floated include Perkins include rowing from England to New York, climbing Mount Everest or walking across America. Apparently Perkins doesn’t like the Mount Everest bet because he doesn’t “want to lose a nose,” and he doesn’t want to spend …
