English Poker Open 2013 postponed until 2014

The English Poker Open 2013 is to be postponed until next year due to unforeseen scheduling issues which have arisen. The tournament was to be held in London from 27th to 29th September at Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City. It was a tough decision to postpone the EPO, but on balance the right choice as we want to ensure that players at the event have the sort of top quality experience that they expect from the English Poker Open brand. English Poker Open 2012 Enters the Money!

With the 2012 English Poker Open down to the final 15 players, the money bubble has burst in this tournament. The top 15 players will share in a £276,000 prize pool, and the winner takes home a very large £78,660 payout. As Day 2 wound down, Jamie Roberts had the best shot at this prize since he’s leading the field with 674,200 chips. Day 1 Recap of EPO2012 – Haque holds Commanding Lead

As expected, the 2012 English Poker Open attracted a sizable field of runners with 138 players buying into this tournament. 63 of these players will still be hunting for a piece of the £276,000 prize pool when Day 2 of the EPO starts today. Mohammed Haque is looking for a big share of this money since he currently holds the lead with 178,000 chips. Haque stormed to the top of the chip count after having an outstanding run on Day 1B.
