 Sam Trickett signs with Everest Poker! Once synonymous with the Titan brand, famed poker player Sam Trickett has now signed a sponsorship deal with Everest Poker. This is no ordinary deal either, where Trickett merely dons the Everest patch and poses for a few pictures for the website. Instead, he’ll play in live events, provide coaching, write blog posts and do video updates from the WSOP. Sam Trickett wins Party Poker’s Old Trafford Tournament

Sam Trickett is used to playing in the world’s biggest poker tournaments, including the $1 million buy-in Big One for One Drop last year. But recently, Trickett found a £250 buy-in tourney that he just couldn’t resist. The Brit played in the Road to Old Trafford event, which was held at Manchester United’s legendary stadium. He was pitted against 168 other players, including UK football legends Quinton Fortune, Bryan Robson, Norman Whiteside and Dwight Yorke. Sam Trickett moves into Second All-Time with Aussie Millions Win

Before the Aussie Millions, Sam Trickett was already one of the biggest poker tournament winners ever. But after capturing the 2013 Aussie Millions $250k Challenge title, Trickett has improved his place in the game’s history even more. He earned AU$2,000,000 for winning this $250k Challenge event, which gives him over US$19,581,579 in live tournament winnings. Trickett moved ahead of Phil Ivey ($17.54m) and Phil Hellmuth ($17.83m) into second place on the all-time live tourney earnings list. Day 1 Recap of EPO2012 – Haque holds Commanding Lead

As expected, the 2012 English Poker Open attracted a sizable field of runners with 138 players buying into this tournament. 63 of these players will still be hunting for a piece of the £276,000 prize pool when Day 2 of the EPO starts today.
