G2 Software Launches

Technology is constantly driving the online gambling industry to new heights. Without these innovative software companies, the industry would not have progressed in such an impressive manner.

The GTECH Corporation is a market leading American gaming services and technology firm. They recently announced that their interactive subsidiary, G2, are set to launch major poker, bingo, casino and mini game products at the European iGaming (EiG) 2009, being held at Copenhagen.

There is much anticipation and interest within the industry who eagerly await the launch of the new G2 casino games.

“We’re looking forward to introducing our new interactive gaming division to the iGaming industry,” said Atul Bali, Chief Executive Officer for G2.

“We are already providing interactive gaming products to some of our European and South American lottery customers and, with the combined resources of our interactive gaming acquisitions and GTECH’s global market leadership of the lottery industry, we will be leading the convergence of the iGaming and lottery industries.”

The great thing about G2 is that they are providing casino, poker, bingo and mini-games that can be accessed through one single account that is managed through a single system efficiently.

“We’re really excited to be showcasing our products as a group in Copenhagen,” said Dominic Mansour, Head of Casino and Games for G2.

“EiG marks the debut of our Games Studio, our internal innovation and game creation centre. It brings together founding members from Dynamite Idea and Boss Media to ensure the highest level of creativity and new concepts and is responsible for creating ideas from scratch into innovative market leading games.”

The latest innovations courtesy of G2 includes a fascinating selection of seven new slot titles and mini-games. The new titles include Rockin’ Fruits, Hot Pursuit, Irish Magic, Luxor Temple, Spot of Luck, Hells Bells and Burning Ocean.

“Operators are finding that mini games, or side games, provide an excellent additional revenue stream,” said Simon Caddy, the founder of Dynamite Idea and now Head of G2’s Games Studio, which is a creative think tank launched at EiG 2009.

“Now, as part of GTECH G2, we have more resources to develop new games and more operators have access to them.”

G2 are also in the position to provide a major update of its bingo software simultaneously with its casino software, while integrating the two with its efficient gaming management system.

The company will also be hosting its Executive Gala, allowing the EIG guests an opportunity to network and socialize.

“We are very much looking forward to launching our dynamic portfolio,” said Mery Blomqvist, Head of Marketing and Public Relations for G2.

“And we’re really looking forward to socialising with our VIPs at our Executive Gala party, which this year will be held on site at Tivoli Gardens.”

The online gaming industry is continually moving in the right direction, with innovative companies such as G2 pushing forward the boundaries of cutting edge technology. This is all great news for an industry that is strengthening on a day-to-day basis.
