Full Tilt’s FTOPS XIX slated for February 6th

The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) just keeps getting bigger and bigger every time. This time around, Full Tilt Poker will offer $22 million across 45 tournaments in FTOPS XIX; this is decidedly bigger than FTOPS XVIII, which offered $19 million across 34 tournaments.

FTOPS XIX starts on February 6th at 16:00 ET with a $1 million holdem poker tournament. Online poker players won’t have to wait long for the next million dollar tournament since Event #4 on February 7th is also a $1 million holdem event. In all, there will be eight tournaments with at least $1 million in the prize pool, which marks the most in FTOPS history. Some of the other highlights of FTOPS XIX include:

– $10,300 heads-up poker tournament with a $500,000 prize pool.
– $2,100 Two-day holdem tourney with a $2 million prize pool.
– $640 FTOPS XIX Main Event with a $3 million prize pool.

Besides the massive amount of money involved in this poker series, FTOPS XIX will also offer plenty of variety with NL holdem, Pot-Limit holdem, Pot-Limit Omaha, HORSE, 2-7 Single Draw, 2-7 Triple Draw, Razz, 9-Game, 10-Game, 7 Card Stud, and Badugi poker games on the schedule. As if this isn’t enough, there will also be quite a few Multi-Entry tournaments, which is Full Tilt’s newest invention. In Multi-Entry tournaments, players can buy multiple seats in the same tournament, thus giving them more chances to win. And to mark the importance of Multi-Entry tourneys, the $3 million Main Event will be Multi-Entry this year.

If the FTOPS buy-ins are a little steep for your tastes, you can always play in the Mini-FTOPS XIX event. Mini-FTOPS XIX mirrors the regular series in that it offers 45 tournaments; however, the buy-ins cost just one-tenth of what they do in the FTOPS. Plus the money isn’t too shabby in Mini-FTOPS XIX either with $8 million in guaranteed money on the table. Here is a look at the biggest Mini-FTOPS XIX tournaments:

– $22 holdem tournament with a $300,000 prize pool.
– $22 holdem rebuy tournament with a $400,000 prize pool.
– $33 Multi-Entry tourney with a $500,000 prize pool.
– $216 Two-day tournament with a $600,000 prize pool.
– $75 Main Event with a $1,250,000 prize pool.

If you’re thinking of playing in either the FTOPS or Mini-FTOPS, make sure to sign up for Full Tilt’s 27% rakeback offer so you get lots of money back on your tournament buy-ins.
