WSOP Satellites at Full Tilt Poker

Full Tilt Poker has joined the party in offering WSOP* Main Event seats as they are giving players numerous opportunities to win a $12k prize package to the world’s biggest poker tournament. As always, they are also offering the usual 27% rakeback deals too! Here is a look at some of the different ways you can book your ticket to Las Vegas through Full Tilt:

$1 Main Event Seat – Full Tilt is running a number of $1 poker games that give players the chance to win a Main Event seat. You can pay $1 + $0.10 to enter these qualifiers directly, or win your way in through satellites as low as 6 FTP’s or $0.25 + $0.05 SNG’s. In all, at least three prize packages will be given away in each $1 Main Event Seat tournament.

Steps Tournaments – You can win your way up the ladder towards a $12k Main Event seat through Steps SNG tournaments. There are seven Steps in all, with the cheapest Step being $3 + $0.30, and the highest Step costing $2,100 to enter (this is where prize packages are offered).

150 Main Event Seats – These massive tournaments will offer players a total of 150 Main Event seats, or $1.8 million guaranteed if you look at this from a money perspective. The buy-in is $600 + $40, but you can also satellite in for as little as $1 or 50 FTPs.

Daily Shootouts – Full Tilt will hold Daily Shootout tournaments (top player from each poker table moves on to final table) until June 26th; the buy-in is $200 + $16, and one prize package is given out in each of these 81-player tournaments.

Direct Qualifier Tournaments – If your bankroll is pretty large, you can pay anywhere from $300 + $22 to $1,000 + $60 to enter a direct qualifier at Full Tilt. The $1,000 + $60 tournaments are especially nice since 5 Main Event prize packages are given out through these qualifiers.

In addition to all of the different ways that you can qualify for the Main Event, Full Tilt is also offering a $10 million bonus to any player that wins the Main Event through FT. Seeing as how the Main Event champion normally wins $8 or $9 million already, this would double your prize! Even if you only cash through a $12k prize package, you’ll receive a free seat for the 2012 Main Event.

Tip of the Day: If you buy into a cheaper WSOP* satellite, play tight in the beginning because there are a lot of maniacs who push all-in frequently in cheap satellites. A good rule of thumb is to only play premium pocket pairs and strong drawing hands, and pay extra attention to pot odds.
