Poker Heaven giving away Big Gifts and Double Points this Summer

Posted on by RTR Rachel

Those who would rather avoid sunburns, and the ridicule of their pasty body at the pool this summer should consider staying home and playing at Poker Heaven. That’s because Poker Heaven is offering double points along with some very expensive gifts from the end of May to the end of August in their Summer Gifts promo.

As far as the gifts go, you can get a number of great prizes with the frequent player points (FPP’s) earned at the poker tables. Also keep in mind that you can earn 30% rakeback by playing at Poker Heaven. Here is a look at some of the prizes that you could win, as well as how many points they cost:

– Philips Streamium NP 2900 wireless network player, 18,000 FPP’s

– Acer Aspire D255 Netbook + wireless mouse, 20,000 FPP’s

– Apple iPod Touch 64GB, 22,000 FPP’s

– Xbox 360 console 250GB, 25,000 FPP’s

– 6 tournament tickets to the €50,000 Guaranteed, 28,000 FPP’s

– Apple iPad 2 16GB, 32,000 FPP’s

– Sony 26” HD Ready, LCD TV with Compact Design, 34,000 FPP’s

– Rooney signed Manchester United shirt (framed), 36,000 FPP’s

– Asus Bamboo laptop, 40,000 FPP’s

– Callaway golf set and bag, 70,000 FPP’s

– €1,400 prize package to a land-based tourney of your choice, 80,000 FPP’s

– Holiday vacation vouchers, 95,000 FPP’s

– €2,000 prize package to a live poker tournament of your choice, 110,000 FPP’s

– Acer Aspire Predator, 120,000 FPP’s

– Breitling’s Superocean Steelfish, 140,000 FPP’s

As mentioned before, you also have the chance to earn double FPP’s in this promotion. Your first opportunity to receive double points is from May 27th to May 30th, and all you need to do is play poker on these days. So assuming you earned 1,500 FPP’s during this period, you would actually have accumulated 3,000 points. To get started, just opt-in under the “Summer Gifts” button in the Player Zone; once you’ve done this, you can track the points in this area.

Tip of the Day: When set mining (playing for a set with a small pocket pair), you need to make sure the opponent(s) you’re going for a set against will give you good implied odds – i.e. they need to play two pair or top pair overly-aggressive so that the risky move pays off when you hit the set.
