Liv Boeree dominating PokerStars Tournaments

Pretty much the entire poker world knows that Liv Boeree is a good live poker tournament player. After all, she’s earned over $2 million in just four years of playing live poker tournaments, which includes a 2010 EPT San Remo title (€1,250,000). However, few people realize that the British poker babe is also an excellent online poker player. In fact, Boeree has had a great year in online poker since she’s won several major tournaments at PokerStars.

She kicked off 2011 by winning a Sunday Warm-Up event ($750k Guaranteed) on February 7th, which earned her a massive $147,781 payout. Winning this poker tournament was certainly no easy task since Boeree had to survive a 4,710-player field. And just a few days later, on February 13th, she beat out a 799-player field to win a $45,000 Guaranteed tournament; Boeree’s prize was $14,981.

The 24-year-old continued her winning ways on May 28th by taking first place in a $60,000 Guaranteed, which netted her $17,220. A few months later, on September 12th, Boeree earned a PokerStars WCOOP bracelet after taking down the Event #21 Second Chance Hold’em tournament; her prize for this win was $40,448. Finally, Boeree’s impressive online poker year has seen her win a $100,000 Guaranteed poker tournament for a $19,822 prize.

When you add up the five aforementioned cashes, Liv Boeree has made over $240,000! What’s impressive is that this doesn’t even include all of the other poker tournament cashes that Boeree has made in 2011. Seeing as how she’s dominating the online poker tables, it’s forgivable that Boeree has only earned $8,979 in 2011 live poker tournament winnings.
