Cake Poker Rakeback and Instant $10k Gold Cards

Cake Poker definitely has some big things happening over the next few weeks with the instant Gold Card payouts and Irish Poker Open prize packages they’re offering. But before we get into any of this, it’s worth mentioning that players who sign up at Cake Poker through RakeTheRake will receive a 110% signup bonus up to $600 and 33% rakeback. So keep in mind that if you decide to participate in the following two promotions, the rakeback will earn you a lot of extra money:

Aces Pay High (Gold Cards) – From now until January 31st, players will be able to win instant prizes by collecting Ace Gold Cards. The size of your prize depends on the suit of Gold Card received, and here is a look at what you can expect:

Ace of Spades is worth $10,000
Ace of Hearts is worth $1,500
Aces of Diamonds is worth $500
Aces of Clubs is worth $250

As for earning Gold Cards, they’re distributed randomly to one player whenever a table reaches the predetermined rake. This being the case, players stand a better chance at getting Gold Cards when they play poker at higher stakes. Assuming you’re dealt an Ace Gold Card, you need to take it to the Match & Win board (in the Cake software’s Rewards section) to redeem the cash prize.

2012 Irish Poker Open Prize Packages – For the fifth year in a row, Cake Poker will offer prizes packages for the Irish Poker Open. The packages are worth $6,000 each, and they cover the €3,500 Irish Open Main Event buy-in, hotel accommodations and spending money. As for the tournament itself, the Irish Poker Open is the longest running poker tournament in Europe, and last year’s Main Event featured a €1,968,000 prize pool; prize package qualifier Niall Smyth won the tourney along with €550,000.

If you’re interested in following in Smyth’s footsteps, you can play in the various 2012 Irish Poker Open qualifiers that are currently running at Cake. All of the satellites lead to the main qualifier, which awards at least one $6,000 Irish Open prize package. Here is a quick look at the remaining qualifiers left:
